Garbage & Recycling
Collection schedule and guidelines for Brookford residents.
Collection Day
Every Tuesday
Trash and recycling are collected every Tuesday for all Brookford residents. Have everything curbside by 6:00 AM.
Household Garbage
Bag your household trash and place it in your provided container. Place curbside the night before or by 6:00 AM on collection day.
Recycling
Rinse and place recyclables in your recycling bin: paper, cardboard, plastic bottles & jugs (#1 & #2), metal cans, and glass.
Bulk & Yard Waste
Large items and yard debris are collected on your regular Tuesday route. Cut limbs to 4-foot lengths and bundle them. Call ahead for appliance pickup.
Holiday Schedule
If a collection day falls on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas, pickup moves to the following day. All other holidays follow the normal Tuesday schedule.
